 February 2022 Master Satellite List

This is a FREE master satellite list that includes all of the known satellites and transponders worldwide.
While this file is meant for loading to Sathero Meters, you will need to modify this file before loading it.
What to modify
First I want to say, this is a MUST. You must modify the list before attempting to load it to a Sathero meter.
1. Open '2202master.xls' in Excel.
Don't have Excel? We use LibreOffice Calc. It is free and compatible with Micro$oft Office.
2. Choose the satellites you want and delete the lines containing the satellites and transponders that you don't want.
3. The satellite names are too long for the meter. They are purposely left this way because some people use the location degrees and some want the satellite names. So, you need to modify the satellite names to be shorter and to remove any illegal character like '/', '&', and others.
Tips
Don't load satellites that you can not see from your location. Use DISHPOINTER to see the line of sight for the satellites you want.
You really only need 2 transponders on each satellite. 1 vertical and 1 horizontal. Of course you can have more.

International Travellers save on phone charges

International smartphone data on the cheap! Recently I went on a dream trip that took me to several countries and cities over a 30 day period. Starting in Dublin Ireland and going to Northern Ireland (Ballymena & Belfast), Scotland (Glasgow, Stirling & Perth), England (Liverpool, Merseyside, Salisbury & London), Greece, Turkey, Italy, and finally Barcelona, Spain (and of course several small cities and villages in between). I wanted to be able to stay in touch with my family and friends back home, and I also wanted to be able to post pictures and videos of my trip to Facebook and Instagram. However, I didn't want to pay for a international data plan on my phone (which would run $10 or more per day). So I started researching eSIMs. I found a few options, but I decided to go with Nomad eSIM mostly because of the reviews that said their support was great. I also liked that I could install the eSIM at a later date and activate it at a later date. With the Nomad eSIM install...
