First Strike meter comparison chart updated

Can your meter do this???

Added the new advanced FS1-SE to our comparison chart.  If you are considering a clone meter, don't let the sellers tell you it is the same as the First Strike meters.  Ask them if it has DiSEqC switching and 20 volt LNBF supply voltage, or any of the other advanced features that they DO NOT have.  The copy folks will tell you their meters are the orginal or their meters are the same as the First Strike Meters.  Don't believe it.  They can not compare with First Strike meters, the original and genuine manufacture.

Want to know how it all started?  Want to know what part Bob Cooper played in the development of TVRO?  Even most dealers today have no clue what forces were behind the development of the back yard dish.

Bob "Coop" Cooper has been providing us with some great videos.
Now "Coop" expands his gift to include Strange/Wonderful World of TVRO.

These videos could easily be dubbed "Little known facts about satellite television".

C-Band Remembered by Bob Cooper

April 2007-Atlanta, Ga. (DMS Internationals back yard) Hundreds gathered for an annual satellite TV show and conference, including more than 100 attending for a 20 year reunion of "C-Band Remembered". C-band (3.7-4.2 GHz and in later years often called 'BUD' - Big Ugly Dish) was the fastest growing home grown electronics industry since post WWII's expansion of television; from fewer than 100 'systems' to more than 3,000,000 between 1979 and 1986.

Highlights here

March 2013 Satellite / Transponder list now available

The March 2013 Satellite / Transponder list is now available to registered owners of our First Strike meters and Sathero meters.

We have two lists, one for First Strike meters and one for Sathero meters.  Each list is formatted in the same way the information is formatted in the meter.  This makes it easy to understand and to load into the meter.

These lists are typically well over 100 pages.  The list covers all satellites around the world.  It comes in very handy for jobs that require parameters for a satellite transponder that you don't know.

It is easy and FREE to registered owners of our meters.  Just another way for us to thank you for buying our meters.
