DBS6000HD receiver with FREE PLL LNBF

For the past several days we have been promoting our new DBS6000HD receiver to our dealers by offering them a FREE Avenger PLL321S-2 Phase Lock Loop LNBF with every receiver they purchase.  The idea is that they will use this promotion to enhance their own sales by passing it on to the end users.  This offer is only good for pre-orders.  When the product hits our warehouse, the FREE LNBF promotion is over.  It now looks like the new receivers will hit our warehouse on Friday.  Better jump on this deal while it is available.  After all, how good is a MPEG4 receiver without a PLL LNBF?

DBS6000HD Hi Def MPEG4 Digital Receiver

I know a lot of you have been waiting a long time for us to announce this receiver.  It will finally arrive in about 10 days.  So, what took us so long?  As most of you know, MPEG4 receivers are still not mature.  We tried our best to make the ALi chip set work for MPEG4 but in the end we only found that it works good for MPEG2, but not MPEG4.  Of course we already knew it worked well for MPEG2 because we had been using ALi chip sets in our receivers for some time.

Finally, with the realization that ALi won't work out the problems in the near future, the decision was made to use Fujitsu, a higher cost but much more stable and powerful processor.

The DBS6000HD MPEG4 receiver is made for North and South America.  That's right, it's not just a European receiver reworked for the connectors we use here.  You will notice that there is no SCART socket on the rear panel.  We don't need it here.

True to Traxis form, this receiver is built for the long haul.  It sports a easy to understand menu system that allows you to run this beauty without reading the manual.  Feed hunters will enjoy the powerful blind search features.

This receiver is made for people who want to watch TV!!!

First Strike FS1 meters are back in stock

After a short period of not having stock, the FS1 is finally back.  A large shipment arrived in our warehouse today and we plan to catch up the back orders before the week is finished.  If you have a back order with us someone will be calling to confirm before we ship.

Lately we have received several large orders for this meter.   It seems operators are finding this meter to be cost effective, accurate and easy for their installers to use.

For the past several months our off shore orders have easily out paced our domestic orders as we grow in popularity.

This months Satellite/Transponder list is available to registered users of our meter.  If you would like to have this list you can request it here.

DSS922 back in stock

The DSS922 is back in stock.  This high quality LNBF has been hard to get.  If you need this LNBF now is the time to order it.  I am positive we will run out again before the next shipment arrives.

If you want some, give us your back order now.  We fill orders on a first come first served basis.

SF-95DR update

The SF-95DR low cost, digital readout meter has become very popular lately.  It looks nice and works good.  Today I've spent a little time making some new website pictures which you can also see on our SF-95DR picture page.

Below you can see the different settings at work.  First picture is full signal and the following pictures show the different ATT (Attenuator) settings.  The meter also has a variable setting that uses a thumb wheel on the side of the meter and allows you to fine tune the signal.
